The once in a lifetime signing marks the 20th anniversary of Villanova's upset of the century, by defeating Patrick Ewing's top ranked Georgetown Hoyas. On April 1, 1985, Villanova, shooting 79% for the game, knocked off defending national champion, Georgetown. This historic win will be featured in an HBO special. This 1985 Custom Blue jersey from the style worn in the National Championship Game. The back of the jersey is signed by: Steve Pinone, Harold Pressley, Harold Jensen, R.C. Massimino, Brian Harrington, Wyatt Maker, Chuck Everson, Connely Brown, Dwight Wilbur, Dwayne McLain, Gary McLain, Ed Pinckney, and Coach Rollie Massimino. The jersey will have NO logos or marks on the front. The back of the jersey will have a name tag; NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. The # 85 will appear on the back large for the players to sign. The bottom of the jersey will be embroidered 1985 Villanova Wildcats-National Champions-Defeated Georgetown 66-64. Limited edition of only 85!
