Create your own team March 31, 2008 Jabbar Hasan (Houston, TX USA) Everybody knows one feature in their mind: Creating your own team. I did make two of them. One was for Austin, Texas and another city. People need to think about before giving me some feedback on this game. BTW, NBA 2K6 ROCKS 4 LIFE!!!!
Wrong game was sent, we sent it back and have not received the appropriate game back yet. March 8, 2007 D. L. Herman (Macksville, Kansas United States) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very disappointed with the response from game funk when the game was for the wrong system and had to be returned and after returning the game we still have not heard back from them or received the right game.
I've got season tickets to this game. November 2, 2006 A. C. Ege/Acedoh (Stockton, CA USA) Talk about entertainment value. Playing this game really is superb. You can have a more simulation experience or a more arcade feel. This game is presented in such a way that you really feel that you are watchig a game. The broadcast is almost piece for piece what you would see on t.v. The graphics are by far the best for a basketball game. If you even somewhat so mildly enjoy basketball this game is a must have on the 360.
gave it some time July 13, 2006 J. Gallant (florida USA) Well I dont normally like basketball games, and at first i did not like the game at all. However, after only a week I really enjoyed playing it. Specifically, I enjoyed the "career mode" equivalent. Year round recruiting and in-season player development was a great feature...the game play was fun, although many of my games froze towards the end. I am not sure if this is due to the xbox360 or the game. All in all if you are a basketball fan I think you will enjoy this game...If you are not, rent it first and give it a few days!
NBA 2k6; A look into the future June 26, 2006 Brad Smith Anyone remember the ol' nba jam t.e. game? Playing it today is still fun obviously but the graphics are horrible, compared to our day and time at least. What I love so much about NBA 2k6 is the overal realism. I can get past the fact that gameplay was sub par because so much was emphasised on graphics. The skin texture, cloth movement, sweat, etc. were all a look into the future I think. I mean, I'm 17, if games are this great looking now, how awesome will they be when I get around 30 or 40? (lol lets hope my son lets me play his xbox 900 :-P) I mean they are already incorporating espn ticker next year and that just opens up the mind. What if a game came complete with sportscenter highlights of all games that night. Combine this with even better cloth movement, sweat technology, player likinesess, hair movement, facial and physcial emotion, anchored feet (or no skating in other words), real motion movement, camera angles that have been studied out from different networks such as espn, abc, fsn (and are thereby put with their respective stations and logos within the game depending on the day like sunday for abc, wednesdays for espn, etc.) As you think about future games and their potential and look at this current one here where you have to double check every now and then even now to make sure its a game, it gets you really excited, or it does me at least. This game is an awesome part in nba gaming history just like nba jam was. Instead of debating which game is better I think it would be wise to just sit back and enjoy what each franchise comes out with in the coming years because this is AWESOME!
