Ive been playing madden over 11 years madden 08 for pc is the best hands down it doesnt get better than this you see Madden o8 have alot mods and also the players look like real football players they run like real football players,game play is so real, thet dont run like robots like on madden 9,10 ,11 for playstation 3 you guys know what I am talking about you play madden o8 for pc these run like football players catch like football players, neither i so more the game real. It bothers me to know that ea decide not make any more madden for pc games pc is the best, better graphics smooth play, the better your graphic card the better madden will look you will be shock if you play playstion all your life and then play madden on pc maybe upset that you havnt been playing madden on pc wrather on console EA I know you done heard this before but you mess up a great tradtion for pc gamers ,because you refuse to make more madden for pc but you make soccer, hockey and all those other sports but not the most popular, hey guys this is the best madden your gone to get, buy enjoy it dont that madden 11 buy madden o8 for pc for $10 bucks save you money I beg of you , MADDEN 08 ITS IN THE GAME like you say ea bring back madden for pc and guys go out and get this game you will love it.

Since EA refuses to make another PC version of the Madden, I will continue to play this dated version. For me it still holds up! This is the third one I've purchased because I wear the game out from playing so much. I'll try to take better care of this one.
What I also like about my purchase were the Tiger Woods golf and the other games that were included.

The problem with game reviews for sports is that they are supplanted by the latest season's games. Kids who are really into them, with knowledge of the players, perhaps having virtual leagues of their own, the so-called "fantasy leagues", need and insist upon the most up to date player info, etc. They do not mind setting up the games for accuracy purposes.
I on the other hand am older; I can remember the 1960 Pirates lineup, but not the wide receivers of the Dolphins last year. So, for me, I want a game that is simple and sets itself up. This game is not like that, as it assumes you are an enthusiast and will want to set up your teams in detail. As such, I did not have the patience to peruse the game for long and must give it a medium review.

First of all I love madden. Love Franchise mode. Got this for my Pc so that i cuold use a xbox360 controller to play it(No i don't have an xbox360 just the controller) and that worked fine after i downloaded the patch. Was addicting to my franchise for days and if thats all the time you want out of this game its a great buy. However after i week i want to add created players to my franchise and start a franchise with a created team(things you could do in 04), well you can't do that anymore, or atleast i can't figure it out. After three seasons all my players unexplainably had an awareness jump to 99, even my backups. You don't have a choice in this and now i don't have to fun of making my team better by myself. Then if you play the games long enough you will notice its like the game cheats for the computer. You will fumble the ball 4 times a game while the computer never does. Corner backs will make plays on balls when they were running the other way and weren't looking. The first season i played LT broke the rushing record by over 500 yrds. Ive gone undefeated and lost the coach of the year to three loss teams. Then if you go even deeper the team ratings are outlandish. The Patriots who lost the super bowl are the all time greatest team. The texans are rating below the european leagues. There are year specific teams that are better than thier all time teams. Ex: the 75 vikings who lost to the steelers are better than the all time steelers!?!? Then there are real glitches, my game sounds only work half of the time. Bottom line the premise if real fun but the execution is terrible.

could not run the game.EA support is lousy.EA gives you the run around and they dont know how to fix their own product.still waiting to hear from them and its been a month already.buyer beware.
