1st NBA Game For My New PS3...I Enjoy It! April 13, 2010 Adolfo Guerrero (Bronx, NY USA) I recently purchased a PS3 console and this was one of my first games.
In my opinion the graphics are very good, the controls at first are a little weird but once you learn them it's all good.
Some flaws i noticed:
- the AI doesn't play defense that well and sometimes leaves players open.
- also some superstars never miss even when you do a double-team, when i played against the Suns that dude Nash never misses a shot.
- i created a team, i tried playing Season Mode and i don't see my team on the list. i don't know if is me or 2K Sports design the Season Mode for NBA Teams only.
I played others NBA 2K games and i really enjoy this one. Overall i think this game is very good apart from the flaws i mentioned.
Good game March 14, 2010 S. Coulibaly (Bowie, MD) NBA 2k9, for all the basketball lovers, you should try this, no, scratch that, try 2k10 Instead, It is way better. Buy it, and be the judge yourself. Oh I think the new 2k is gonna be out so you'd be better of waiting for it to be released and get it.
Great game!!! February 25, 2010 Cameron Loving (Kentucky) I would highly recommend this game to anybody. I received the game on time and absolutley love it!
Exactly what I expected!!! January 9, 2010 Sukhandeep Singh (Charlotte, NC, USA) I last played a Basketball game on my PS2 6 years back. Since then the graphics have improved the presentation has become more slick, but the gameplay is still the same fun.
Disappointed December 28, 2009 Charles Washington (Raleigh, NC) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game seemed like it was going to be fantastic. However, I put it in my X-Box and once I started a game, the game would freeze after the first shot. I tried copying the game to the hard drive and every tweak I could find on the Internet, but the disk was faulty. Yes, I know, i could have returned it or whatever, but it just wasn't worth the hassle. This came from a video store (allegedly) in New York so I was confident that the game would be of good quality even though it was used. Now I realize that if I really want a game, it's best just to either buy it locally used, or buy a new version for myself. I was very disappointed.
