Product Description This running shoe from New Balance is packed with features that deliver a high level of stability, as well as plenty of cushioning. The TS2 medial post helps guide your foot for a smoother walk, while the Extended Web supports and stabilizes the midfoot to minimize pronation (foot rolling inward). Abzorb SBS cushioning, located in the heel and forefoot, softens impact on your feet.
Amazon.com Product Description Fresh technology and serious construction makes the New Balance Men's MR1224 Running Shoe an athlete's choice. The sporty design on the synthetic and mesh uppers features a trademark New Balance N logo, reflective accents and metallic overlays. The MR1224 incorporates ABZORB FL, ABZORB DTS, ABZORB SBS Forefoot, an extended web, and TS2 technology. A flexible, arch-supporting, shock absorbing outsole and ergonomic insole make this running shoe dependable and comfortable. A padded tongue and collar add extra cushioning.

New Balance MR1224 Running Shoe November 23, 2008 S. Hayes Great shoes. Very comfortable and no break-in necessary as I took them out of the box and ran several miles. Good buy
Great running shoes November 23, 2008 S. Acosta So far they are the most confortable running shoes that I ever bought. I really do recommend them to anybody. I am even buying my wife a pair.
non-runner review October 24, 2008 L. Finegan (az. usa) overall shoe feels very good. good support and fit. only complaint is this shoe does not allow air to foot even though there is lots of mesh on the sides of the shoe. poor air circulation.

I've worn NB shoes for over 10 years now and love them. I've been wearing this style for the last 8 years. Only problem here is that the size I buy is 11 1/2. I've never bought shoes online before because I was always afraid that they wouldn't fit or be comfortable and then I would have to deal with returning them etc. I thought that since I've been wearing NB shoes for over 10 years and have always bought size 11 1/2 that I was safe buying through Amazon. Well of course the came and they were too small. So I had to pay to return them and another $5 exchange fee so I lost all the money I saved by buying them through Amazon. No complaint about this seller as they shoes arrived promptly and I was notified of all the shipping dates etc. and a slight change in the size is out of their control. Only suggestion would be that they include a UPS return label to make that easier.

My husband is in the Army, and goes through new running shoes about every 4-5 months. He's tried all different brands and levels of shoe. This time, I strongly encouraged him to get the absolute best running shoe the New Balance store offered, along with the additional super-duper insoles. It was pricier than usual, but after all, you only have one body, so you might as well take care of it, right? Well, this morning, he called me right after taking a PT test (after taking the second half of the summer off of training) to enthusastically thank me for making him get the shoes, and excitedly exclaim that, not only did he shave a minute off his run time, but felt INCREDIBLE. His hips and knees didn't hurt like usual, and the term he used to desribe his new shoes was "phenomenal."
