This DVD set covers the history of the Laker franchise, going all the way back to its days in Minneapolis. It contains all of the championship videos from each title team of the 1980s and 2000s, and contains all or most of one playoff or Finals game from each of the nine seasons in which the Lakers won a title since they moved to Los Angeles.
The games from the Eighties demonstrate what the NBA used to be before expansion thinned the talent pool--an up-tempo, higher-scoring league that required a team to have much more talent to win a title than it does today.
All fans of the NBA, regardless of rooting preference, will enjoy viewing these DVDs. This set shows title-winning Laker teams facing off against some of the greatest teams in history, and is a great buy for anyone interested in the history of the NBA--even for a Celtics fan like me.

BOTTOM LINE:
I don't know of ANY DVD that has every. single. moment. ever (is that even possible?), but this captures some of the FINER moments (and almost complete games) of this NBA dynasty!
Just watching a young Magic go against some of the greatest NBA players (Dr. J, Bird, Isaiah, etc) is alone worth the price!
The Lakers' Magic-led fast break 'Showtime' offense is possibly the single best offense in all of sports history.

I really love the NBA Dynasty Serious of The Los Angeles Lakers. The content and the queality of the pictures was great. I love the fact that you can watch the whole game of the Championship. You also get the whole history of The entire Los Angeles Lakers organization. I'm a die hard Laker Fan and its great that i get to know a lot about the history of the Los Angeles Lakers. Thanyou

I love it, every lakers fan needs to own it - the only thing missing is game 7 of the 2000 western conference finals - luckily it's always on sale on ebay! I was able tobuy it for like $7 so it was a worthwhile addition to the collection.
