Durable and my boy loves it! January 6, 2009 Brittany Hanson (Chicago, IL) I gave this toy to my soon-to-be 5 year old for Christmas, and out of everything he got, this is his fav toy. It's so much more durable than the transformers meant for the older kids. I recommend it.
Non transforming Transformer January 6, 2009 mother of three (minnesota) My 4 year old son had wanted a Bumblebee and I guess I didn't read the details too carefully before I purchased this, but this is a Transformer that DOES NOT TRANSFORM. This sort of baffled me, because that seems against the point of a transformer. After explaining to him it doesn't change into a car and hyping up the sounds it makes and such, he seems ok with it. If I hadn't bought this online, I would have returned it for a transforming transformer.
Not bad January 6, 2009 Jenifer Bement (Michigan) Overall, this is a fun toy. It just hasn't clicked with my son. I hate to trash it since its more a personal preference as opposed to a toy defect.
Great Toy December 31, 2008 Father of 4 (Belews Creek, NC) My son has not played with this much since Christmas. Optimus Prime was his #1 toy on his list and he got it from Santa. He loves Bumble Bee but the larger Optimus Prime has got his attention (4 yr old). It seems to be a durable toy and he can transform it with no problem. Any Bumble Bee fan should love this toy. My son will come around to it (along with his other toys) as soon as Optimus Prime wears off.
Doesn't Transform, what's the point December 31, 2008 Kyle R. Cubbage (Seattle, WA United States) Seriously, how could you construct a Transformer toy, call it a Transformer, and have it not transform? They should take away whatever the designers of this toy are smoking. It's not really a Transformer if it doesn't transform. Cool buttons and lights, but could have gotten that w/ a Ben 10 Alien Force alien or Buzz Lightyear equivalent.
