Product Description The new Ripstick combines all the fun and excitement of surfing and snowboarding and puts it on wheels. Inspired by the classic shape and design of a skateboard, the Ripstick looks like something out of the future. Instead of the traditional four-wheel skateboard, this amazing board can make smooth, quick 360-degree turns on just two wheels. Just stand on the sturdy traction plates and subtle movements propel the Ripstick even up a hill! The front and rear flexible panels are controlled by a spring-oriented bar located on the top of the wheels. The rugged polyurethane wheels are 77mm/85A with ABEC-5 bearings. Separating the two traction plates is a padded rubber carrying handle. Measures 33.5" long x 10" wide. Weighs 8 lbs. Wear helmet and pads for safety. 90-day warranty.
Amazon.com Product Description Best described as a cross between a skateboard and a snowboard, the Ripstik caster board is the perfect ride for kids looking for the next big thrill. And thanks to the 76mm polyurethane wheels and precision ABEC-5 bearing casters, skaters will enjoy a smooth ride on almost any type of pavement. Wow. October 6, 2008 Hi I'm 12 years old. This summer I was at my beach house, and I saw my cousins ripstik in a shed. I'd heard of the ripstik, but I thought it would be impossible to learn. But I was bored, so I picked it up and tried it. At first I stunk. really. But over two days I practiced. Within two days I got good enough to ride it to town. I HAD to have it. I couldn't take it and I ran to walmart and bought it. It's been one of my best product choices. I still love it, it's easy to learn and you should should just buy it now. If your still reading you haven't bought it yet. BUY IT!!!! I'm waiting... see ya on the streets!
Ripstik September 29, 2008 kss2245 (New York, NY United States) I bought this product for my ten-year old granddaughter and she loves it. The only thing is it's being represented as a Ripstik but it's really a mini-ripstik. I wrote to the people it came from and they said no, but that's what my granddaughter told me and I saw it for myself. The one I bought was much smaller. But she loves it...
Excellent servic and price. September 18, 2008 Raja Everything in shape and as it should be. I will purchase again from Amazon. Onle one word. EXCELLENT
Get Outside September 13, 2008 Sarah S. Ford (Illinois) This was a wonderful purchase. My son bought it with his own money and he and his friends are playing outside more with this and he is even riding it to school. This was money well spent!!!
My son loves it September 7, 2008 E. Sokoloski (New Jersey) My son wanted this and I figured here we go again another thing for him NOT to do. He loves it. It took him a while to get good at it and get the hang of it, but it was worth it. Now he does it all the time.
